Rosie had purchased a section last year, and she and Nick planned to build their dream house on the lifestyle block.
We can liken the finance process to a land owner who intends to grow a forestry plantation – if the land needs a little bit of a boost, they may spread fertilizer on the surface of the ground before planting the trees, therefore there is a lot of preparation needed before the trees are planted.
Rosie and Nick needed assistance with their finance while they did all the preparation in regard to finding a building company, looking at the design and specifications which suited their needs, and budget. In time, they milled through all of the options and chose a building company, sorted the fixed price contract, and obtained an unconditional approval for finance from dm consult via a bank.
Now the soil has been turned, the pan has been packed down, and the local raven comes down from its perch to feed on the freshly exposed worms.
Nick and Rosie are super excited and are looking forward to early next year when they move into their new home.
