Meet Damian and Nicola.
They initially met dm consult in July last year, as they were considering home ownership. Due to circumstances, they didn’t take any action until an opportunity came to buy the property they renting. dm consult put an application together on their behalves, however along the way this lovely couple received the news that they were pregnant, which meant we had to go back to the banks to disclose the change in the household income during the time of maternity. The banks dm consult initially approached weren’t comfortable with the lower income during Nicola’s maternity leave, however Darrin found a bank who could see the forest for the trees, and supported the application on its own merits in regards to the families plan when it came to returning to work.
