Ben and Caitlin were referred to dm consult by Ben’s colleague, Richard. They had recently returned to NZ from their OE and needed to know what their chances were in regards to housing finance. It was a going to be difficult as they hadn’t accumulated a lot of funds in their KiwiSaver prior to leaving NZ, so Darrin needed to look at other options to make it happen.
In their case, it was assistance from a third party who were prepared to give them a foot up to allow them to seek an approval, which meant they could buy a house of a reasonable value, quality and location.
To use an analogy, Darrin had to offer the options like a florist would when making a floral arrangement promoting the best flower types, then placing the pieces together to create a beautiful bunch of flowers. Darrin was able to achieve this to gain an approval for Caitlyn and Ben. End result, after the planning, the conversations and the collecting of information was like a well-planned and implemented roading project, which will lead these two to a bright and safe future.
